Maiden Gully Progress Association – AGM 2023

Maiden Gully Community Small Hall




The Maiden Gully Progress Association along with the Maiden Gully Community Hall committee are looking for new executive members.


All current positions will be vacated and available for new representation.


If you are a local in Maiden Gully or surrounds and have a keen interest in our community, please attend our AGM this Wednesday.


Our values


The principles and standards that will guide our behaviour


Respect – Representing all of our community regardless of ethnic or social background, health, age, gender or political opinions


Community - We grow and support constructive relationships and meaningful connections between people, communities and organisations


Advocacy – We will continue to promote for change and development in Maiden Gully and challenge decision makers to domore


Sustainability – Advocating for long-term community benefits and change in an environmentally efficient manner


Integrity – promoting, maintaining and adhering to our vision, purpose and values.


We have several current projects on the go including:


· Upgrade to the Maiden Gully Recreation Reserve (19 Beckhams Rd)

· Upgrade to the Maiden Gully Rd/Carolyn Way/Calder Highway intersection

· Upgrade to the Calder Highway

· New Coles development

· New footpaths (Including along Edwards Rd)

· Ongoing projects and events such as:

1. Ride Walk Maiden Gully

2. Managing the local Maiden Gully Community Hall

3. Autumn Festival

4. Christmas Carols


The executive positions do require a degree of knowledge; however, we are more than happy to provide training if you are keen to learn and help.


If you do have any accounting, secretarial or web site/social media experience, we are particularly keen to have you as part of our team.

Board member (up to 7)


Maiden Gully Hall Committee:

Hall manager

Booking Officer

Treasurer

Maintenance crew (up to 5)
