Autumn festival cancellation
It is with regret that we inform you of our decision to cancel the Autumn Festival that was to be held at Balgownie Estate Winery on Sunday 17th. May, 2020 due to the implications of COVID-19.
In this daily changing Coronavirus landscape, we believe this is the responsible decision in the interests and safety of all community members, volunteers, stall holders, entertainers and organisers.
We hope this passes quickly without significant harm to you and the community and that we will be able to hold the Festival in the future.
This decision follows the recommendation from Australia’s Chief Medical Officer and the Government that all non-essential mass gatherings over 500 people should be cancelled to limit the spread of the virus.
